TESIS BUKAN proyek/kerja praktik
Tugas Akhir (TA) adalah karya ilmiah yang
disusun menurut kaidah keilmuan dan
ditulis berdasarkan kaidah Bahasa
Indonesia, di bawah pengawasan atau
pengarahan dosen pembimbing, untuk
memenuhi kriteria-kriteria kualitas yang
telah ditetapkan sesuai keilmuannya
masing-masing. Tugas Akhir dibuat
sebagai salah satu persyaratan untuk
menyelesaikan suatu program studi.

What is ABET?
ABET is the acronym for the
Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, I
nc
. This body accredits college degree programs in
engineering, computing, technology, and applied
science. Made up of 31 professional and technical
societies, ABET includes many of the societies within
IEEE. Currently, ABET accredits 2500 programs
nationwide.

Engineering programs must demonstrate that their graduates have:


an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering
an ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and
interpret data

The ingredients of good science are obvious
novelty of research topic, comprehensive coverage of
the relevant literature, good data, good analysis
including strong statistical support, and a thoughtprovoking discussion.
The ingredients of good science reporting are obvious
good organization, the appropriate use of tables and
figures, the right length, writing to the intended
audiencedo not ignore the obvious.

Syarat mengambil tesis:
a. Telah menyelesaikan 28 SKS (tidak ada nilai di
bawah B)
b. Telah menyelesaikan administrasi sampai tahap 3
Bentuk pembimbingan tesis berupa:
c. Diskusi online (tatap muka dengan menggunakan
cozora sebanyak minimal 3x)
d.Diskusi melalui LMS (absensi di dalam LMS).
e.Diskusi melalui sarana lain (whatsapp, e-mail, dll).

Jadwal pengumpulan laporan tesis:
1. Mini Proposal tesis maksimal pada minggu ke-3.
2. Bab 1 (pendahuluan) pada minggu ke-4.
3. Bab 2 (studi literatur) pada minggu ke-6.
Minimal referensi yang digunakan 5 tahun
terakhir.
Gunakan template tesis MTI.
Minimal jumlah referensi 15 (tidak boleh
menyertakan sumber dari blog/wikipedia.
Hanya boleh dari jurnal/prosiding conference).

4. Bab 3 (metodologi) pada minggu ke-8.
5. Bab 4 (analisis dan pembahasan) pada minggu ke13.
6. Bab 5 (penutup) pada minggu ke-14.
7. Revisi tesis pada minggu ke-15.
8. Submit laporan tesis minggu ke-16.
9. Sidang tesis diselenggarakan di STMIK AMIKOM
Yogyakarta.
