created by the National Center for Families Learning (NCFL) in 2010.

Three Examples Of Things I Learned From This

Resource!
One thing that I learned was that you can live with only one
kidney! Many people live healthy, regular lives with just one
kidney. Thanks to each of our amazing body's ability to
adapt, a single kidney will grow larger in order to filter your
blood all on its own.
A Second thing that I learned is that the temperature of lava is
an extremely hot liquid. On average, fresh lava can be
between 1,300 F and 2,200 F!
Last thing That I learned was that John Glenn became the first
U.S. astronaut to eat in space when he ate applesauce from
an aluminium tube during a 1962 Mercury space mission.
