California Young

Reader Medal
Program
2016-17

What is it?
The

California Young Readers Medal is

an award given to excellent books for
young adults.
This award is different than others
because kids in California vote on their
favorite book!

How to Participate
Read

every book (3) in one category.

Take and pass quizzes (for each) in the
library; when you finish the book, Mrs.
Pospisil will let me know your score.
Vote at the lunch party March 8th!
You must read all 3 books/pass tests in
one category by March 1st if you want
to attend the voting party.
You may read more than one category!
