Used for cooking
and cooling

Steps
1. Cut a circular base out of a thin, flat
piece of clay
2. Extrude clay
3. Score and slip each piece together,
top and bottom (dont use a ton of
slip!)
4. Start with a cylindrical base and
work upward to negative space etc.

Requirements
MUST demonstrate an interesting use
of coil (using different shapes,
negative space)
Must be at least 8 inches tall
Pot should not be too heavy
Must have excellent craftsmanship
At the end of class: the extruder MUST
be cleaned and the hard clay swept up
