NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM

ADVANCED LEVEL

Objective
By the end of the lesson student
should be able to
- make inferences

Step 1
Students watch the trailer Night at
the Museum
Teacher asks following questions
1. Name the characters in the movie.
2. Who is the main character?
3. Where did this story take place?

Step 2
Class divided into several groups. Each group is
assigned with the same scene of the movie.
Students read the dialogue of the scene assigned
to them.
Students may use QAR* (Question Answer
Relationship) method to guide understanding.
Each group chooses a HOTS question from one of
the boxes to answer.
Students present and justify their answers.
Each group puts up their answers on the walls of
the classroom.

Step 3
In a gallery walk session, students walk
around to read all the responses.
As they read they will use the ACID
strategy where they will rate the
responses using colour coded stickers:
A agree (green)
C confusing (yellow)
I interesting (blue)
D disagree (red)
