Application Fee
The application fee for general & OBC
candidates is Rs. 100.
SC/ST candidates and wards of
JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from
examination fee.
The application fee payment can be done
via cash payment in any branch of SBI Bank or
through net banking, visa/master/debit card.

Eligibility Criteria
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates born not before 2nd July, 1998 and not
later than 1st July, 2001 are eligible to apply.
Candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent
exam organized by any State Education Board or a
University. Candidates who are appearing in 12th or
equivalent exam are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who have resigned or withdrawn on
disciplinary grounds from any of the training
academies of Armed Forces are not eligible to apply.

Physical Standards
Candidates should be physically fit as per to
the guidelines set by National Defence Academy
and Naval Academy Examination.

Marking scheme of Mathematics:
For every correct answer, 2.5 marks are rewarded.
For every incorrect answer, 0.83 marks are deducted.

Part A English
The question paper in English
will be designed to test the
candidates understanding of
English. The syllabus covers
various aspects like:
Grammar and usage,
vocabulary,
comprehension and
cohesion in extended text
to test the candidates
proficiency in English.

Part B General
Knowledge
The question paper on
General Knowledge
broadly covers the
subjects:
A. Physics
B. Chemistry
C. General Science
D. History, Freedom
Movement, etc.
E. Geography
F. Current Events

Out of maximum marks assigned to part B of this paper, questions


on Sections A, B, C, D, E and F will carryapproximately25%, 15%,
10%, 20%, 20% and 10% weightage respectively.

Intelligence and Personality Test


In addition to the interview, the candidates will be put to
Intelligence Tests both verbal and non-verbal, designed to
assess their basic intelligence. They will also be put to Group
Tests such as group discussions, group planning, outdoor group
tasks, and asked to give brief lectures on specified subjects.
