Online Green-light Review

From Script to Screen

Premise
Two people dealing with the lost of their love ones.

Logline
A young girl, suffering from the lost of her parents , runs ways from
home. Her legal guardian/grandfather has to find her before she gets
herself hurt.

Step Outline
A window cleaner gets a phone call in the middle of work. He gets told
that daughter and her husband had been killed in a car accident.
The window cleaner goes to pick up his 8 year old granddaughter
whos waiting at her house with a police office.
As the old man arrives, the girl is standing at her front door holding a
box and the policeman crouching down trying to speak to her.
The window cleaner walks over to them, puts his hand on her head
and tells her to go and wait in the car as he speaks to the police man.

Second later the window cleaner turn around to look at her and
shes gone. Leaving the box on the floor.
He panics, running around shouting for her.
Its been a while and now starting to get dark, the old man returns to
the house. He sat down on the door steps with his hands on his
head and worry on his face. He look over to the box that she left.
He looks through it and finds a picture of her and her parents,
several stuffed toys and key ring and a folded up piece of paper. He
opens it up and sees that its a map of a nearby fairground where
her parents use to take her whenever the had time.
(fairground)
He sees her sitting on a bench and slow approaches her. He
crouches down and looks at her face as she crying and said I miss
them too kiddo and hugs her.
