DISTRIBUTION

PRACTICES OF
WARNER BROS.
DONE BY: ADRIANO PUCCI

DISTRIBUTION
PRACTICES

One of the largest distribution practices incorporated by Warner Bros.

was the creation of technologically advanced theatres in countries
other than the United States in 1989 one of these countries was
Australia.

This allowed these businesses to grow and mature while also

attracting a larger potential audience to the films created by Warner
Bros.

Other important distributions include: the Studios creation and

utilization of a unique film co-financing and worldwide distribution
business model; the opening of Warner Bros. first international theme
park (Movie World in Australia, 1991)

DISTRIBUTION
PRACTICES

Also in 1989, Warner Communications, Inc. acquired Lorimar

Telepictures, which allowed Warner Bros. to more easily become a
global conglomerate in both the areas of film and television.

They acquired this company due to them being one of the most highly
recognized and highly praised film production companies of that time.
