Following on from yesterday

We need some more practise of subtracting
decimals from decimals but more
importantly, subtracting numbers with 2dp
from numbers with 1dp and vice versa.
How might we go about solving the following?
3.45 2.2
2.18 1.9
3.4 2.46
8.9 3.78

Extension
Now we will move onto subtracting from
with a greater number of decimal places.
We can continue to use the rounding up
method or just the quicker more efficient
column subtraction

Convert from m to cm, cm to mm and

vice versa
Play In the box at
http://www.topmarks.co.uk/Flash.aspx?f=int
heboxv2
, choosing converting measures. Choose m
to cm, then cm to mm, then mm to cm. Chn
write the converted measures on their w/bs.
Click each box to open it so they can check
their answers.
