LOCATION NOTES

Ashamae Swyer
Barkingside Park
We will be using the High street entrance and main pedestrian path in
Barkingside Park for Scenes 4 and 7 of our short film. We decided to use
this location as local parks are typically visited by couples in Romantic
films, and can connote a state of peace/balance and love. The park is
practical as its within walking distance to Barkingside Cemetery, where
we intend to shoot our graveside scenes.
Barkingside Cemetery
We will be filming a headstone and the surrounding scenery at
Barkingside Cemetery. We chose to use this location to solve the
enigma surrounding the character of Hayden, who only appears
to Karina as a figment of her imagination. Also, the inclusion of a
location that connotes peace but also pain, we felt it would be
appropriate for a Romantic Drama.
Oaks Lane Bus Stop

We will also be filming at Oaks Lane bus stop

for Scene 2. As well as providing a continuity
to the film, the busy and lively scenery
immensely contrasts the looming theme of
death.
Bedroom

We will be filming in
Danielle Conneelys
bedroom for the
opening scene of our
short film. We chose to
use this location to
create a believable
character and enhance
the quality of the film.
Exterior of house

We will be using the exterior

of a local house for the
establishing shot that opens
the short film, as well as
Scene 3. As previously
stated for other locations,
its a practical location and
allows the film to flow
smoothly.
