25th October 2016. -Tata Group filed appeal in the Supreme Court, Bombay High Court
and National Company Law Tribunal to ensure that Mistry doesnt get an ex-parte order
against his sacking.
26th October2016.- Mistry wrote a scornful letter to board members .
29th October 2016.- Tata Groups Human Resources chief NS Rajan resigned from the
company.
2nd November 2016- Ratan Tata wrote another mail to employees saying that removing
Mistry was absolutely necessary for the future of Tata Group.
4th November 2016-Tata Sons appointed S Padmanabhan to oversee HR functions.
25th November 2016.- Legal notice sent to mistry of legal duties as a director.
21st December 2016.- Extra ordinary general meeting.
