MEANING OF CELL
Cell is the basic
structural ,
biological and
functional unit of
life.
PARTS OF CELL
Plasma Membrane :- Outermost
covering of cell.
- Permeable, flexible & made up of lipids
and proteins.
NUCLEUS:-
- Dense protoplasmic body that contain
heriditory information.
- Nucleolus is present inside the nucleus.
CYTOPLASM:-
The fluid content inner to the
cell membrane is called
cytoplasm.
It has various cell
organelles:
a) Endoplasmic Reticulum: It is a
large network of membrane
bound tubes, sheets and
vesicles.
B) GOLGI BODIES:
It is a system of
membrane bound vesicles
& tubules arranged
parallel to each other.

C) Ribosomes:- These are

cell
structures that make
proteins.
D) MITOCHONDRIA:-
Rod shaped cell organelle
which take part in aerobic
respiration.

E) Vacuoles:- These
are membrane bound
storage sacs for solids
and liquid contents.
HOME-WORK:-

Draw a well labelled diagram

of a cell
