outside the lab. 2. Horizontally growing seedlings
in laboratory air.
Experimentation: 1. Excluded cultural practices,
light, and temperature as causative agents.
Proposal: Abnormal horizontal growth occurred
due to illuminating gas
Further Experimentation: Constituents of the gas
tested for effect on pea
Result: Only ethylene caused triple response
