Intervene with Individuals, Families, Groups,
Organizations, and Communities
PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 8.1
Critically choose and implement interventions to achieve practice
goals and enhance capacities of clients and constituencies.

Completing the case review will allow me to develop the


intervention goals and action plan. The action plan will be based on
the students strengths and needs, so it will be made specifically to
assist and enhance the childs abilities.
PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 8.2
Apply knowledge of human behavior and the social environment,
person-in-environment, and other multidisciplinary theoretical
frameworks in interventions with clients and constituencies.

Determining what intervention to implement and how to implement


it will be guided by using the various theoretical frameworks. They
will assist in determine the action plan is the most effective for that
student.
PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 8.3
Use inter-professional collaboration as appropriate to achieve
beneficial practice outcomes.

I will ensure that I am diligently communicating with counselors


and teachers, and continuing to have the student work with the
specified counseling agency, attending tutoring sessions with
teachers, and whatever additional actions that should take place.
PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 8.4
Negotiate, mediate, and advocate with and on behalf of diverse
clients and constituencies.

To ensure that the necessary actions are taking place, I will discuss
the situation with the student and explain to them why the specific
plan of action was established. I will also be advocating for the
students in any discipline committee meetings, staff meetings,
interactions with other resources, etc.
PRACTICE BEHAVIOR 8.5
Facilitate effective transitions and endings that advance mutually
agreed-on goals.

I will work with the student and acquire the necessary information
to ensure that they are advancing in their goal attainment.
