Introduction:
The project WINDMILL is about to show how
we efficiently make use of renewable
energy using OpenGL function. We have
used simple OpenGL functions to draw a
rotating fans and We show the generation
of electricity when the fans are rotated.
Using this mechanical energy we can
generate the electricity which is
nonrenewable.
Used OpenGL Functions
draw: Which is used to draw
the fans.
mount: This function is used to draw
the mountains.
lawn: Which is used to draw the lawn.
streetlight: Which is used to draw
the streetlights.
Software requirements
Operating System : Fedora 10 and higher
version
Hardware Interface:
User should provide main containing all functions.
Interface is required.
approach.
There should exist interaction between user and
system.
Outputs:
Clockwise rotation
Outputs:
Anti clockwise
Outputs:
Stop rotation
Conclusion:
We have used simple OpenGL functions to draw
a rotating fans and we show the generation of
electricity when the fans are rotated.
Wind power is the conversion of wind energy
into a useful form of energy ,that is electrical
energy which is used for daily routines.
This project also helps us to analyze how we can use
the different standard functions for creating the
changes of rotation of fan in wind mill.(clockwise, anti-
clockwise).
This graphics model is very useful, one showing the
rotational changes implementation.
