It is a tradition from
ancient Rome, where
this holiday was
intended to welcome
the spring.
Were used clothing,
masks or disguises,
and where people of
all social classes
could often be
confused.

Brazil is located in the northeast of


South America.
Rio de Janeiro, is a city located in the
southeast of Brazil. It is the second
most populous city in the country after
So Paulo.

Weather: hot summers and warm
winters.
DESCRIPTION


Is an annual celebration,
between February and
March according to the
year.
There are sensational
parades, music, folk
dances, stunning
costumes and parties
everywhere.
The great Samba parade
is the main highlight.
Samba schools compete
for the title of Champion
of the Parade.
COSTUMES

The costumes
have lights,
bright colors,
glitter, hand
embroidery and a
very elaborate
makeup.
