Mid Year Go-Live functionality is useful if you are implementing SAP

Payroll India in the middle of a financial year.

In India, the income tax assessment year is from the 1st April to the
31st March and you calculate all applicable taxes on employee salary
for this period. When you implement SAP Payroll India in the middle
of a financial year, you also need to transfer payroll results for those
periods of the financial year that lie before the period, in which you
are implementing the SAP Payroll India.

Using the Mid Year Go Live functionality, you can upload the final
payroll results from your legacy data systems into the SAP system.
The final payroll results are the actual payments and deductions of
an employee salary.

They must include statutory, non-statutory deductions.
