The Chronicles of Narnia:
The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
Four children with the help of Aslan, the Great Lion, help defeat the White Witch who holds
Narnia. The first of the children to make their way into Narnia is Lucy, the youngest. There
she meets Mr. Tumnus, the faun. He explains that the Witch has held Narnia under an
enchantment which makes it always winter. The only way the Witch can be defeated is to
have four humans sit on the throne at the castle of Cair Paravel. When Lucy returns home,
her brothers and sister think she is either lying or crazy, but soon Edmund follows Lucy into
the world and meets the White Witch who plies him with Turkish Delight extracting a
promise from him that he will bring his siblings to her. Finally, all of the children go through
the wardrobe into Narnia. There they go on a journey to rescue Tumnus who has been
arrested and find Aslan. Edmund betrays his siblings and goes to join the White Witch
becoming her prisoner. After his rescue, the witch approaches Aslan claiming the right to
Edmund's life because of his traitorous act. Aslan later goes willingly to the Witch in
Edmund's place, letting her kill him. As the girls, Lucy and Susan secretly watch he is shorn
of his mane, tied up and killed. As they dispair, he suddenly appears to them alive again
The Chronicles of Narnia:
Prince Caspian

This one takes place a year after the children had gone to Narnia the first time, but they
find that hundreds of years had passed in Narnian time. During that time Narnia had
been conquered by people who call themseleves the Telmarines and all of the old
Narnian creatures had been killed or had been in hiding for years.
It actually begins with one of the Telamrine rulers, Caspian, who was only a child and
had been usurped from his throne by his evil Uncle Miraz. As Caspian flees for his life,
he finds the Old Narnians in their hiding place. He blows a magic Horn which had once
belonged to Queen Susan and was supposed to bring help to those who blow it. On the
other hand, the children are sitting in a railway station when they feel themselves being
tugged back into Narnia. They are somehow transported to Cair Paravel, their former
castle, which is now a ruin. Caspian goes to the Narnians and they rally around him
when he promises to create a Narnia for both men and beasts forming an army to
attack Miraz. The kids are found by a dwarf who brings them back to Caspian. Together
The Chronicles of Narnia:
Voyage of the Dawn Treader

The two youngest Pevensie children return to Narnia with their unwilling cousin Eustace
and travel with the now adult King Caspian on a high sea adventure. The story begins
with Lucy and Edmund being sent into a sort of exile to their cousin's house for the
summer. Eustace is a tiresome boy who is not interested in adventures at all. But when
he catches his cousins looking at a picture of a "Narnian" ship and begins to tease
them, he gets more than he bargains for when the picture becomes real and the three
children find themselves adrift on a Narnian Sea. Rescued by the crew of the Dawn
Treader, Lucy and Edmund are overjoyed to find that their friend King Caspian is on
board and they enthusiastically join his search for seven missing lords who had left
Narnia years earlier to explore the seas. As the children have many adventures
exploring the uncharted islands they are captured by slave traders, overcome a so
called evil magician, repel the attack of a sea monster and survive a terrible storm. By
the end of the voyage, they have found all of the missing Lords and Eustace becomes a
