Constructing intake interviews and putting clients information into the


agency database and the excel spreadsheet for the shelter

There is a lot of data coming into the shelter, keeping track of it through
the database and the spreadsheets are an efficient way to make sure all
of the data is in one place and can be accessed easily.

ENVIRONMENT, PERSON-IN-ENVIRONMENT, AND OTHER
FRAMEWORKS IN INTERVENTIONS

Apply knowledge through art therapy support group

Applying research to working with clients through an art therapy support


group that allows them to express their feelings and experiences through
art and creating a space where they can talk about their experiences.

Creating a personalized goal plan with the clients

Sitting down and meeting with clients to develop a short-term and long-
term goal plan, this focuses on the clients strengths, needs, and
challenges.

After sitting down and creating goal plan with the clients we determine
the best intervention to help them achieve those goals

Collaborating with the Shelter Coordinator on which resources are likely to


help the client achieve their goals
