Before you start Before you start it is important to pick out the origami paper you would like to use! You can use traditional origami paper or notebook paper of any size as long as it is a perfect square. Step 1 Fold the paper in half so it is a big triangle.
Hint: you want the
design on the outside. Step 2 Fold the outside edges to the top so you have a small square. Step 3 Turn the diamond shape 90 degrees so the opening is at the bottom.
Fold each triangle in
to a smaller triangle. Step 4 Fold each small triangle in half.
Hint: the horizontal
edge of the origami must be in a straight line! Step 5 Fold the top layer of the bottom paper to the middle of the top triangle.
Fold the remaining
paper to make a lip! Step 6 Turn the fish over so it is facing the table.
Tear each side 1/3
of the way to make the fishs tail! Step 7 Open the fish body
