I took inspiration for this record label logo from the label which help produce Arctic Monkeys
albums, Domino Records. Due to this inspiration, I decided to use this logo because it
created a slight theme as the letters C and E were bold and a different colour. This helped
create a simplistic theme. I named the record label CE Records because my initials are CE.
I also added a white line around the logo in order to make it stand out more. Furthermore, I
also felt that this style (black and white) would work well with my ancillary texts and the back
cover of my digipak.
I opted not to use the second design because it was very similar to this design however, it did
not create a theme like the first design did as the font and style was the same all the way
through.
Finally, I did not use the third design because it was too large and takes up quite a lot of
room. Furthermore, I felt that it may appear too confusing due to the overlap and the record
label name would be difficult to interpert.
