Jobs are arranged in descending order, as per
their values or merit to organization.
Jobs can also be arranged according to the
level of difficulty in performing them.
It starts with departmental ranking and then
the department ranks are combined to create
overall organizational ranking.
This is simple to understand and practice but
highly subjective in nature.
Not suitable for large organizations.
Job Grading Method
Also known as Job Classification.
Predetermined number of job groups/Job
classes are created and jobs are assigned to
these groups/classes.
