What is non-verbal aptitude?

Non-verbal means not involving or using words or speech.


Acquired or natural ability (usually measurable with aptitude tests), for
learning and proficiency in a specific area or discipline. Aptitude is
expressed in interest, and is reflected in current performance which is
expected to improve over time with training.
Non-verbal reasoning involves theability to understand and
analyse visual information and solve problems using visual
reasoning.For example: identifying relationships, similarities and
differences between shapes and patterns, recognizing visual sequences
and relationships betweenobjects, and remembering these.

Why Is Nonverbal Intelligence
Important?
Non-verbal intelligence is important because it enables students to
analyze and solve complex problems without relying upon or being
limited by language abilities.
it is nonverbal intelligence that allows us to think through, plan for, and
implement projects. We also use nonverbal intelligence to organize and
manage our time and our belongings.
Nonverbal intelligence may be improved by working with hands-on
tasks like picture puzzles, blocks and building toys, find-a-word puzzles,
mazes.
