Transition Elements
Transition elements are elements from
Group 3 to Group 12 in the Periodic
Table.
- examples of transition elements are
iron, Fe, zinc, Zn, copper, Cu, silver, Ag,
gold, Au, and mercury, Hg.
Transition elements also known as
transition metals.
Properties
Transition metals have some special
characteristics which are not
possessed by other metals.

in their compounds.
