Introduction:-
Started in 1789.
Over the next decade many important events like the Tennis court oath,
the Reign of Terror took place.
The French conquest also led to the events like the Unification of Italy,
the eradication of the Holy Roman Empire, essentially laying the seeds
of the modern Europe we see today.
Rise of Napoleon.
Impact on the United States Of
America:-
There was a very strong bond between America and France.
Many Americans wanted to help the French people during the revolution.
A divide was created on how involved America should be. It led to the
formation of two political factions:
Federalists
Republicans
Taking advantage of the wars in Europe, the USA invaded Canada in 1812, but
lost when the British interfered.
