Levin, 2002)
Provide pictures and clear fonts

Variety in stories

Appropriate with students age and interest

LEVEL OF PROFICIENCY..
Complexity of the words must be at level with students
proficiency (Turkan & Possinger, 2014)
Do not use too many complex words in materials or too many simple words

Words counts must not be lengthy


Too much words can lead to boredom and loss of interest
IN TERMS OF LEARNERS
MATURITY IN STORIES..
Use materials that is familiar to the students (Moiseenko, 2015)
Students can relate to their current surroundings

Example; pets at home, family, past experienced

Use source that is suitable for the students age (Vari, 2002)
Not too explicit

Suitable content for children

Not sensitive

Easy to relate
Connected to the learning content

Have a clear path in building up the lesson


FAMILIAR TO
STUDENTS
IN TERMS OF PRACTICALITY..
Materials is not to heavy for students to do
Keep it level with the students ability

Not to hard, not to easy to understand

Right amount of content, not more than 2 learning


objectives (Petty,2013)
Keep the objectives of lesson at minimal

Do not packed to much things into one

AVAILABILITY..
Can get alternative such as electronics story book and
laminated materials, can save cost and re-use
(Olinghouse,2008)
Use what we have, not wasting too much source on one single materials

Electronics materials can be flexible and laminated materials can be re-use and
efficient

Try not to add up unnecessary decorations in story materials


Too much decorations

Wasting resources on non related content
