Develop student survey policies.
Publish a report on district screening efforts for
student dyslexia.
Annually identify K-2 students not reading at grade
level and provide alternate instruction.

Basic education funding first


Increase the general education formula by
3%. Inflation is projected to increase approx. 2.5%.
Fund the cost mandates of special education
services. Cross subsidy costs are now $28.1
million in Anoka-Hennepin. The failure to fully fund
the law is reducing educational opportunities for
all students.
