Hex Floor

Dragons Den Presentation by: Robby Magallanes

and Erian De Guzman
What is Hex Floor and How Does it Work?
-Plastic hexagonal flooring

-Converts friction into electricity

-Replaces all flooring in the school

-Storage for electricity

-Controlled through computer application

How Does Hex Floor Benefit The School?
-Gives off more energy for the school to use

-Less need for generators

-More efficient

-Electricity used to give off heat or cool off tiles

-Could also be used for school events like dances

Providing Safety in the School
-Fire detectors are installed

-Alarm system in case of emergency

-Detectors to track danger

-Cooling System can put out fires

Environmental Factors
-Renewable energy generates electricity

-Electricity is conserved

-Almost no global warming

-Use of trees
Cost
-Ranges from $20-40/tile depending on plastic used

-Heating/cooling system costs $25/tile

-Fire detectors cost $50/tile

-Application costs $143,250-231,900

-Thermometers cost $30/tile

Our Main Goal.
-Conserving energy with technology

-Finding new ways to provide green energy

-To keep our future as much energy efficient as we can
