 ADVANTAGES
Highly efficient in removing small particles like smoke, mist
and fly ash.
Also effective for high dust loaded gas (as high as100 grams
per cu meter).
Maintenance fees are lower compare to other separator
It is easier to operate
The dust removed in dry form and it can operate in dry or wet
circumstances.
 DISADVANTAGES
Cost more than the normal filter device
The running charges is also high i.e the amount of power
required for charging is considerably high
Space needed is larger
The efficiency of the electrostatic precipitators is not
maintained.
