INTERVENTIONS
1. Conduct home visitation to pupils at risks,
absentee and has difficulty in reading.
2. Remedial reading session by the
advisers.
3. Send letters to parents for PTC.
4. Giving of special awards during cards day.
5. Using out of the box interventions such as
worksheets, word games, flashcards, AVP,
and reading materials.
CONCLUSION
The 3 top most identified problems which
are subsequently voted 12/12 are the low NAT
performance ,non-readers and low
comprehension can be rooted with the inability
of the children to read. Thus, if pupils can't be
able to read they cant be able to understand
and of course will result to poor academic
performance in NAT.
Addressing the needs of non-readers by
improving their reading abilities can resolved
the priority problem of the school as stipulated
on the data gathered above.
