My visit to Frankfurt for the 2014 Auto

Show was great. This was the 65th edition
of the fair. It took place from September
25th to October 2nd in Hanover, Germany.

I arrived in Germany on Tuesday, 23rd of

September, two days before the start of the
event. I flew from New York to Frankurt. I
enjoyed the flight a lot.

I arrived at the exhibition center on

Wednesday, which was the first day of the
show. There were outdoor and indoor
exhibitions and lot of visitors.

I first visited the electric cars pavilion.

There were several exhibitions by different
car makers. I enjoyed them all.
The place was full of people because the
cars were really amazing.

A few days later, I attended a presentation

about the cars of the future. The exhibitors
showed a 3D clip about new technologies in
car manufacturing. These exhibition was
very interesting too. They even had a see-
through model car made in glass.

Before the end of the show, I had the

opportunity to do a drive test of a very
modern vehicle.

I traveled with a group of visitors to a nearby

circuit. We chose our favorite car and drove
along the circuit for several minutes. I felt
like a real race pilot!

Before leaving Germany, I had to try the

local food: sausages, of course! During the
last day of the show, I visited one of the local
restaurants. I ordered the Frankfurter
Wrstchen which means The little
Frankfurt saugage It was absolutely
delicious! I also had a sauerkraut (cabbage
in vinegar) and a beer with it. These are the
usual sides that German people eat with
sausage.

advances in consumer technology, I am
very aware that by 2018 flexible screens

The third day of my trip I was in the

pavilion of Mercedes Benz, where I met his
prototype of autonomous car, which is
expected to roll in the streets in 2020, has
autopilot, parking alone, and can take you

My fourth day I dedicated it to the pavilion

of science and technology, in which I was
struck by the uses of virtual reality in
medicine and how it can be used in
complex surgeries.

nanorobots, which will be able to navigate
the blood, while making small

The last day of my trip, I had the

opportunity to visit Apple's smart home,
which can be controlled remotely through
the cell phone or any device of the
company.
