ROAD TRIP

Valerie Ho, Kristelle Yan

Y7 Respect
Introduction
We designed a road trip plan that starts and ends in New
York. The trip will be 10 days long and there will be 8
people that will be going on this trip. We will be going to 2
different states: Washington D.C. and Philadelphia.
FOOD
We will be eating Healthy nutritious meals as our main goal is
not to eat high quality food, but to visit grand museums and
visit top tourist attractions.

Total Food expense: $100 x 7 x 10 = $7000

LODGINGS
Hotel Rooms $100/day - up to 4 people in each Hotel Room
The guests going on our trip are not familiar with the places in
United States, so we would spend less money on lodgings in order
to have enough money to go for more days, and visit more places
in United States.
Total Hotel Expenses: 100 x 2 x 10 = $2000
BAGGAGE
We want to spend less money on baggage as it is not very
important we could save more money to explore more tourist
attractions.

Total baggage expense for everyone: $0

OUR ROUTE
TRANSPORTATION
We chose Honda Prius because this car can hold up to 4 passengers, and it has a
reasonable MPG, so we could hire 2 cars for the 8 people who are going on this
road trip.Total Transportation Expenses (with gas): (34 x 2) x 10
+ 98.84 = 778.84

(Kristelle wanted a lambo but (bubble head) didnt let me buy

use one)
GAS
(9.1 + 93.1 + 1.6 + 2.9 + 136.2 + 0.9 + 0.5 + 439.0 + 4.5 + 212.4) 51

900.1 51 = 17.65
17.65
17.65 x 2 = 35.3 gallons of gas
needed

Total cost of gas: 35.3 x 2.80 = $98.84

TOTAL EXPENSES
Food= $7000

Lodgings= $2000

Transportation= $778.84

Total: $7000 + $2000 + $778.84 = $9778.84
