Eco-Innovation

• The call for proposals aims to set up a consortium to expand the knowledge base on the role
to be played by public policies and actors in the field of eco-innovation, in particular
innovation agencies and programmes, most efficient approaches and results to be expected.

• The action will identify best practice in the participating countries in the fields of recycling,
Green Public Procurement and international actions and prepare the ground for their
extension.

Airbus Fly your Idea Challenge

• Airbus Fly Your Ideas is a contest that challenges students worldwide to develop new ideas
to deliver a greener aviation industry.

• The competition will be open to teams of between 3-5 college and university students from
around the world, currently studying a degree, Masters or PHD in any academic discipline,
from engineering to marketing, business to science and philosophy to design.

 UK Feed-in Tariff (FIT) Scheme

UK Feed-in Tariff

• Grant Type: Production Incentive

• Amount: Varies by technology and capacity installed
• Geographic Focus: UK
• Deadline: 20 to 25 years (varies)

• The new Feed-in Tariff (FIT) scheme, sometimes referred to as ‘Clean Energy Cashback’, is
available through licensed electricity suppliers. The scheme is intended to encourage the
uptake of small-scale low carbon technologies up to 5MW, through tariff payments made
on both generation and export of produced renewable energy.
