The three magic apples

Everyday Andy takes the bus number

nine to go to school.
 Would you like
to have a seat?

At park road an old woman with a big basket of apples

got into the bus. Andy gave his seat to the old woman.
 Would you like to
have an apple?

The old woman was very grateful.

She gave Andy three big red apples.
Andy thanked her and put the apples into his schoolbag.
 When Andy got back home, he took the apples and
ran out to the park. In the park he saw tall boys
playing football.

He ate the first apple and became strong and

tall but when the boys saw him they got scared
and they run away.
 Andy was sad because he
wanted to have a lot of friends,
so he ate the second apple to
become famous.
But he got scared when paparazzi appeared around
him with cameras and microphones so he run away.
When he was running from the paparazzi, he saw a sport car
and he ate the third apple to become rich.
Although he got everything he wished for
he was still sad because he had no friends.
One night he had a dream, in his dream he saw the old woman again.
He told her about his problems and she told him to look for a yellow
flower.

Tell the flower what you want to be.

Smell the flower, and then wait and see.
Andy ran into the garden.

He found the
flower near the
apple tree.
 I want to be me,
he said and suddenly he was on the park bench again.

Come and play with us

the boys said to him.
Andy got up and ran over.
