A View from the Outside

An outside observer will find an organized classroom focused on the student. They will see that
instruction and discussion is student-led, teacher-facilitated. Students have ownership of the
classroom. This means that students assume responsibility and pride in the classroom. From
interactive bulletin boards to instruction, to the general cleanliness and upkeep, students are fully
involved in their class and classroom. The teacher facilitates an environment where students develop
their own sense of responsibility, pride, and achievement.
