Ornithischia: (or-nith-is-che-a)
Only herbivores.
Saurischia: lizard-hipped
Large lizard like pelvises and clawed feet.
Both carnivores and herbivores.
Divided into 2 sub-orders:
1. Theropods: (there-o-pods)
2. Sauropods: (saur-o-pods)
Theropods: (breast-footed)
Carnivores (meat eaters)
Pachycephalosauria: (packy-cep-halo-sore-e-a)
Walked on 2 legs.
Certopsia: (sir-top-c-a)
Walked on 4 legs.
Had beaks & horns on face.
There were other types of dinosaurs:
Pterosaurs: (ter-o-saurs)
Flying bird-like reptiles.
Ichthyosaurs: (I-cathy-o-saurs)
Plesiosaurs: (ples-e-o-saurs)
Sea reptiles.
