Signed the death sentence imposed on Rizal by
court-martial and ordered his execution.
11:00-12:00 midnight - Rizal hide his poem inside the alcohol
burner.
-He wrote a letter to his brother Paciano.
12:00-04:00 a.m.- Rizal sleeps restfully because his confidence in
the goodnesss of God and the justness of his cause gives him
astounding serenity and unusual calmness.
04:00-05:00 a.m.- Rizal meditates and reads Bible.
-He wrote a dictation to his wife Josephine and
by this very act in itself he gives to her their only certificate of
marriage.
05:00-06:15 a.m.-Rizal washes up, took breakfast, attends to his personal
needs.
-Wrote a letter to his parents, reads Bible and
meditates.
-Josephine was prohibited by the Spanish Officers from
seeing Rizal.

06-15:07:00 a.m.- Rizal walks to the place of execution between Fr. March
and Fr. Vilaclara with whom he took conversations.
-he spoke his last words it is finished.
07:00-07:03 a.m.- sounds of guns and Rizal turns halfway
around and fell on the ground facing the sun. Spaniards
shouts Long live Spain.
