PRESENT TENSEs means expresses events or situations that exist
always,usually,habituallly it is used to express everyday activity;they exist now ,have existed in
the past,and probably will exist in the future.It is used for general statements of fact.

PRESENT CONTINOUS TENSEs


means give the idea that an action
is in progress and continues after
another time or action or expresses
an activities that is in progress at
the moment of speaking.
PAST TENSE indicates that an activity
or situation began an ended at particular time in the past.

PRESENT FUTURE
TENSE is used to express future time or at
one particular time in the future,this will happen.
PRESENT PERFECT TENSE
It is expresses the idea that something
happened (or never happened)before now,at
an unspecified time in the past.
It also expresses the repetition of an activity
before now.
Also,when used with FOR(aduration time) or
SINCE (a particular time),expresses a
situation that began in the past and continues
to the present.
Question forms
A yes/no question = a question that
may be answered by yes or no.
Yes/no question: Does she live in Pbr?
Answer : Yes,she does.OR No,she doesnt.

An information question = aquestion that


ask for information by using a question
word/Wh- question.
Wh-question: Where does she live?
Answer : In Pekanbaru.

Negative questions
Negative questions are used to indicate the
speakers idea(i.e.,what s/he believe is or is
not true)
Doesnt she live in Pekanbaru?
Taq Question is aquestion added at the
end of a sentence.Speakers use taq
questions chiefly to make sure their
information is correct or to seek
agreement.
Jack can come,cant he?
Fred cant come,can he?

NUMBERS
CARDINAL = a number indicate the counting
or calculating.(1,2,3 10100)
The function :1. Used sum in arithmatic
(Multiplication/times/X, division/divided by/:, addition/..plus../+,
substraction/..minus../-)
2.indicate the date,the year, the time(hours),the
phone numbers.

ORDINAL = a number indicate rotation.


1st=first 4th=fourth 10th=tenth
2nd=second 5th=fifth 20th=twentieth
3rd=third 9th=ninth 30th=thirtieth
