Working Draft Presentation Overview July 19, 2017 TIME MODULE DESCRIPTION Act I. OPENING 1:00 1:15 PM INTRODUCTION (15 MIN) Interns present personal experiences when working in groups. 1:00 1:05 PM STORIES Jassiem: Raise Against Hunger (5 MIN) Ari: Regal Lab Experience 1:05 1:10 PM The proposition is made relevant to the team by asking a series of questions by finding shared QUESTIONS & FACTS (5 MIN) experiences. 1:10 1:15 PM INVITATION & GAME The Greenhouse team will be presented with a current adaptive challenge and invited to participate (5 MIN) INTRODUCTION in the breakthrough activity. Act II. ACTIVITY 1:15 2:00 PM The team will be guided through the breakthrough activity to reach a solution to their challenge. RISING IDEAS (45 MIN) Interns will facilitate the activity. 1:15 1:20 PM IDEA PROPOSING Participants will be given balloons and note cards to submit ideas on how to overcome the challenge (5 MINS) 1:20 1:30 PM EXPOSURE All ideas are read presented to the group and listed on whiteboards (10 MINS) 1:30 1:40 PM BRAINSTORMING Participants will rotate around the boards to add comments that enable the idea to be accomplished. (10 MIN) 1:40 1:55 PM Black Hatters are chosen. Each idea will be reviewed with the additions from the team. Black DEBRIEF (15 MIN) Hatters will present their risk analysis on each idea. 1:55 -2:00 PM Participants will privately vote on what they believe to be the best idea. Results will be posted to the DELIBERATION (5 MINS) group. Act III. PRESENTATION Interns present their group project and approach to develop the Breakthrough Card. The 2:00 2:20 PM ROADMAP & reasoning behind the items used, method, and the intended goal of the activity will be (20 MIN) EXPLANATION explained. 2:20 2:30 PM QUESTIONS & End the presentation and open ground for questions, comments, and feedback.
