1. Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur
The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur or IIT KGP) is a public engineering institution
established by the government of India in 1951. It is the first of the IITs to be established, and is
recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India.
Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani (shortened BITS Pilani or BITS) is an Indian institute of higher
education and a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. BITS administers the all-India
computerised competitive entrance examination, BITSAT (BITS Admission Test), Admission is merit-based,
as assessed by the BITSAT examination.
Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly known as Delhi College of Engineering is an engineering
university located in New Delhi, India. It is one of the oldest engineering colleges in India and Delhi's first
engineering college.
5. National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli
All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi (AIIMS Delhi) is a medical college and medical
research public university based in New Delhi, India. The Institute was established in 1956
and operates autonomously under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is a prestigious medical college in Pune, India, in the
state of Maharashtra. The college is managed by the Indian Armed Forces. Established in May
1948 after World War II on the recommendation of the BC Roy Committee, remnants of various
Indian Army Medical Corps units were amalgamated to create the Armed Forces Medical
services.
The Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) is a government medical college in Delhi affiliated to
University of Delhi. It is named after Indian freedom fighter and first education minister of
independent India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. It is located at Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg.
5. JIPMER College, Puducherry
The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) is a medical
school in India, and the oldest to teach European medicine in Asia. It is located at
Pondicherry, the capital of the union territory of Puducherry, in southern India. JIPMER is an
Indian central government funded institute with autonomy to run its internal administration.
JIPMER is both an educational institute that imparts undergraduate and postgraduate medical
training and a working hospital that provides inexpensive medical care to a large number of
patients.
1. Shri Ram College of Commerce
Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi was established in 1920. SRCC is one of the first
Commerce and Economics institutes of India. SRCC was initially a Commercial School. Later on
in 1932, the college was converted into a degree college.
Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR), New Delhi was established in 1956 and has long
been recognized as a premier institution of higher learning for women in India. As a centre for
academic excellence and achievement, the college is today one of the finest in India.
3. Loyola College, Chennai
Loyola College, a Catholic Minority Institution, was founded by the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in
1925, with the primary objective of providing University Education in a Christian atmosphere
for deserving students irrespective of caste and creed.
St. Xaviers College, Mumbai was established in 1869 and accredited by NAAC with A+ grade. It
is an autonomous college under the University of Mumbai. The aim of the college is to
promote human wisdom and also seek to accompany in faith.
