 Still focused into product & build to forecast processes

 Failure to adopt a SC orientation was a major error.

 No strategic relationships with suppliers

 More than 150 suppliers- organization failed to standardized parts and

huge options given to customers.

 Enormous man-hours spent to maintain these many suppliers

 No value added service given by suppliers-ZingPc had to pay more than

competitors.
Inventory Problems

 Guessing was done by purchase dept. for component requirements

 Even un-demanded goods were being ordered

 Result: Bottlenecks & glut of unneeded products that would soon

become obsolete

 Limited storage facility-trailers not being unloaded

 No accuracy, quality or damage checks

 Over $130mn inventory but manufacturing processes were

constantly slowed down.
