melting of diamond at 5000K from 15 to 30 Gpa but does not melt at


6000K at 125 Gpa. Increase of melting temperature with pressure.
In liquid carbon both sp2 type(graphitic) & sp3 (diamond) bondings
exist together. However with increase in pressure sp3 contribution
increases.
Possibility of different liquid phases exists which is insulator below 0.02
& conductor above 0.1 Gpa.
