George Washington is the man who

served as the first president of United

States of America and worked in the
military of US as the commander in chief.
He was also called as the founding
fathers of US.
Now let us take a deep look about
him
George Washington was born on 22nd
February 1732 in Westmoreland County,
Virginia, United States
He died on the
Date of 14 December 1799, Mount Vernon,
Virginia, United States.
George Washingtons father died when he was eleven years
old, and the boy spent the next few years living in different
households throughout Virginia.
The father of Washington received his education at Appleby
School in England, and, true to his alma mater, he sent his
two elder sons to the same school. His death when George
was eleven prevented this son from having the same
advantage, and such education as he had was obtained
in Virginia.
By the age of sixteen he had obtained a basic education in
mathematics, surveying (the process of measuring and
plotting land).
George Washington had five full siblings
and three half-siblings. His father
remarried after the death of his first wife,
and George was the oldest child of that
union. The family was fairly well-off and
lived in Virginia.
George Washington liked farming, hunting and
breeding dogs. He enjoyed horseback riding and
was an excellent horseman. In addition, George
Washington had a passion for interior decorating and
design.
George Washington started riding horses at age 17.
He was so renowned for his horse .Washington loved
to catch his own food. He would often go hunting
before breakfast and go fishing during the day. He
owned a large pack of dogs for fox hunting, and he
personally bred the dogs to be better hunters. Horse
riding skills that Thomas Jefferson called him "the best
horseman of his age." He was a fast and graceful
rider.
George Washington was a leader of the Continental
Army in the American Revolution, and was the first to
become U.S. president.
In the early 1750s, France and Britain were at peace.
However, the French military had begun occupying
much of the Ohio Valley, protecting the King's land
interests and fur trappers and French settlers.
On October 31, 1753, Dinwiddie sent Washington to
Fort LeBoeuf, at what is now Waterford, Pennsylvania,
to warn the French to remove themselves from land
claimed by Britain.
The French politely refused and Washington made a
hasty ride back to Williamsburg, Virginia's colonial
capitol.
In 1758, Washington returned to duty on
another expedition to capture Fort Duquesne.
A friendly fire incident took place killing 14
and wounding 26 of Washington's men.
However, the British were able to score a
major victory, capturing Fort Duquesne and
control the Ohio Valley.
Washington applied for a commission with the
British Army but was turned down.
In December 1758, he resigned his
commission and returned to Mount Vernon
disillusioned.
Martha Dandridge Cutis, age 27, and George
Washington, age nearly 27, married on January
6, 1759, at the White House plantation.
They appeared to have had a solid marriage.
Martha and George Washington had no
children together, but they raised Martha's two
surviving children.
Her daughter, nicknamed Patsy, died as a
teenager during an epileptic seizure, classed
as SUDEP.
John Parke "Jacky" Cutis returned from college
to comfort his mother.
There have been many presidents in the history
of the United States of America until today,
but George Washington is someone who really
marked the leadership of the country.
He was the very first President of the United
States and there are many interesting facts
and stories from President Washingtons life.
He was the Commander in Chief of
the Continental Army for about 8.5 years and
all along he refused to accept any salary for
his services.
He even used his own money to fill the budget
of the country.
Unfortunately, his solitude lasted less than
three years as he died on December 14,
1799 at age 67.
George Washington Cutis was the son of
John Cutis, the son of Martha
Washington from her first marriage to
Daniel Cutis.
George Washington Cutis was thus
Martha Washington's grandson.
