Vibration

When body displaced from its equilibrium position, and repeats equal interval of time
is said to be system is in vibration or oscillation

In generally some system we are called as vibration rather then oscillation. Synonymously
two word are Same but meaning different if we are going still more in depth of vibration

When body taking too much time complete motion or event that is in low frequency , then
We are called as body under oscillation . Ex: swinging pendulum, seashore ,etc..

When body taking less time to complete even or cycle that is in higher frequency, then body
Said to be under vibration . Ex: vibration of cell phone, machine parts vibration

Vibration phenomenon : when body is in vibration , it starts repeats it self in equal interval of
Time or different . During phenomenon body changes phase of energy mode that is kinetic to
potential to regain or move o there home or equilibrium position .this process continues and
Infinite.
But practically all body having there own damping property , due to which energy dissipation
takes place after certain interval of time and ends vibration.
