This document provides an overview of features and enhancements included in Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 and applicable updates. It is
intended solely to help you assess the business benefits of upgrading your existing Oracle Products to this release, or implementing completely
new Oracle developed products, and planning your I.T. Projects.

Map Integration Implementation Options
The map integration is driven based on the profile CSI:Map Viewer based on which the
respective integration would be enabled.
ESRI Pure ESRI integration does not need any Oracle Spatial

Oracle Spatial Oracle Spatial integration in which user has choice to choose
Elocation or Google as Map Layer

Custom GIS with Oracle Spatial Customers who already have a GIS other than
ESRI and would choose this option. Example: Open Spatial, E-Spatial.
User has choice to choose Elocation or Google or custom map(if oracle spatial
compatible) as Map Layer

Implementation Tips , Best Practices
For requirements like Drawing new geometry & for updating
geometry for Linear Assets from EAM itself, Oracle Spatial
Integration option is suitable
User-defined Tool Bar options provide a flexible extension
mechanism for enhancing the Map Visualization based on specific
customer needs
Asset Network modeling can be carried out by making use of the
Relationships features. This will result in easier access to Cost
Summary for Network Assets Maintenance & for network
visualization on Map.
