1- blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs
is the kingdom of heaven.
What this means-

Poor in spirit means they cast

themselves on Gods grace and if
you do this you will go to heaven.
2-Blessed are those who mourn, for they
shall be comforted. What it means

-Notice and understand when people are
upset.
- Offer support when others are sad or
going through a rough time.
-show concern when they see suffering
throughout the world.
3- Blessed are the meek, for they shall
inherit Earth
Means-

That those who are kind

and respectful will be the
best on earth.
4-Blessed are those who hunger and thirst
for righteousness, for they will be filled
What it means
-If people or kids are hungry or
thirsty then god will fill them
with righteousness.

What is righteousness?
-It is the quality of being
morally right or justifiable
5- Blessed are the merciful: for they shall
obtain mercy
Means-

That when you show kindness and

mercy to people you will receive it
back.
7-Blessed are the peacemakers, for they
shall be called sons of God
What does it mean?
People who are peacemakers
-Help patch things up between
people
-promote working together rather
than breaking up relationships.
8- Blessed are they which persecuted for
righteousness sake: for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven
Means-

That when people are killed for

doing the right thing in Gods
opinion they will be saved and go
to heaven.
