based on 4 Ps
PEOPLE
1. End poverty in all its forms everywhere by 2030.
2. End hunger, achieve food security and improved
nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture by 2030.
3. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all
ages by 2030.
4. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and
promote lifelong learning opportunities for all by 2030.
5. Achieve gender equality and empower all women and
girls.

6. Ensure availability and sustainable
management of water and sanitation for all by
2030.
7. Ensure access to affordable, reliable,
sustainable and modern energy for all by 2030.
8. Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable
economic growth, full an productive
employment and decent work for all.
9. Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive
and sustainable industrialization and foster
innovation by 2030.

10. Reduce inequality within and among countries by 2030.
11. Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe,
resilient and sustainable by 2030.
12. Ensure sustainable consumption and production pattern
by 2030.
13. Take urgent action to combat climate change and its
impacts.
14. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and
marine resources for sustainable development by 2025.
15. Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of
terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests,
combat desertification, and halt and reserve land
degradation and halt biodiversity loss by 2020.

PEACE
16.Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for
sustainable development, provide access to
justice for all and build effective, accountable
and inclusive institutions at all levels by 2030.

17.Strengthen the means of implementation
and revitalize the global partnership for
sustainable development.

The respective governments particularly of developing world
will have to:
1. There are 17 Goals and 169 targets.
2. There is a cost to multitasking., therefore key to achieve the
SDGs will require to expand domestic resources.
3. Having a well formulated development agenda is not
enough; leaders need a way to turn goals into plans and
ensure that they stay on course. This operational focus is
often absent from the debate.
4. The scale of the SDGs demands financing of around $11.5
trillion per year (Sub-Saharan Africas GDP is around $2
trillion). Clearly we need a wider concept of the finance and
policies required to support development.
5. Fortunately, unlike 15 years ago, technology can
revolutionise the delivery of services. This has already
begun to happen.
