HISTORY & INTRODUCTION

 Refex Refrigerants Limited was incorporated as Refex Refrigerants Private


Limited on 13th September 2002, under the Companies Act, 1956
 The Company was converted into a Public Limited Company on 13th
March 2006 with the name Refex Refrigerants Limited.
 Refex Refrigerants is a specialist refiller and distributor of Refrigerant
gases in India particularly, environmentally acceptable gases that are
replacements for CFC‘s.
 Subsidiary companies include Sherisha Technilogies Pvt. Ltd (Singapore),
Kaltech engineering, Refrigeration Pte Ltd.
 CFCs were developed in the early 1930s and are used in a variety of
industrial, commercial and household applications.
 Two main classes of replacement compounds have been developed :
Hydro chlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) & hydro fluorocarbons (HFCs).

PRODUCT PROFILE

 Refex 134a -used in new medium-and high-


temperature stationary commercial refrigeration
as well as chiller systems and home appliances.
 Refex 23-HFC retrofit refrigerant for very low
temperature applications [below -40°F to -100°F (-
40°C to -73°C)] such as medical freezers and
environmental chambers.
 Other refrigerants include R22, R404A, R407C ,
R410A, R141B
DEPARTMENTS

 IMPORT – The refrigerants are imported from


China and Singapore. They are transported in
ISO tanks and enter India by sea.
REFILLING

 Refilling factory is based in Chennai. They are


stored in huge tanks called tonners
 The refrigerants are processed and packaged in
cans for sale.
 Annual requirement is more for R134 and 400
series.
 Industry requirements increases at 8-10% per year
FINANCE
 Mandatory accounting procedures as per law
 Publishing of quarterly report as per government regulations
 Internal audit carried out on a monthly basis
 Maintaining records of provident fund, gratuity, and other
benefits
