island of Goeree-Overflakkee, South Holland.


It offers general education: vmbo-mavo-havo-vwo.

Good practice: Immigrants at the RGO
A few facts: we started in October 2016 with 10 children from
Syria. In july this summer we had 40 immigrant students
Public education!
Three groups: A B U (outflow) group in regular classes:
extra individual support
Obstacles/challenges:
1. difference in cultures on a rather conservative
islandschool
2. integrating this group in common schoolactivities
3. the management enabled a group of teachers to study and
be certificated
