The methods to investigate has been used in association the ground properties in this with Mackintosh probe and study include: Standard Penetration Test (SPT). The arrangement of electrodes for a 2D electrical survey and the sequence of measurements used to build up a pseudosection Setup for a 2-D survey with a number of electrodes along a straight line attached to a multi-core cable. A constant spacing between adjacent electrodes is used. The multi-core cable is attached to an electronic switching unit which is connected to a laptop computer. The sequence of measurements to take, the type of array to use and other survey parameters is normally entered into a text file which can be read by a computer program in a laptop computer. After reading the control file, the computer program then automatically selects and stored the appropriate electrodes for each measurement. For a system with 20 electrodes as shown in the Figure, firstly 19 of measurements with a spacing of la is made, followed by 18 measurements with 2a spacing then by 17 measurements with 3a spacing and so on
